About
Dikeno Sinto is a modern jazz-manouche composition by the Alsatian guitarist Moréno Winterstein, a disciple of Tchan Tchou Vidal and one of the most distinctive voices of contemporary gypsy jazz. It's a fixture of the current festival and jam repertoire.
The sound — A minor, driven by a descending cycle (Am, Dm, G7, C, F, E7) with an A7 leaning as a secondary dominant toward Dm. Bright and forward-moving.
Practising it — drill the A harmonic minor scale and the Am, Dm and E7 arpeggios, then voice-lead through the G7–C move and resolve A7 into Dm. Build speed gradually.
