All of Me (Gerald Marks & Seymour Simons, 1931) is one of the most-played standards in any jazz jam, and a manouche favourite for its bright, singable line.
The sound — a major-key tune that moves through a chain of secondary dominants (E7, A7, D7…), each one leaning into the chord that follows. It's a clinic in how dominants pull a progression forward.
