Teaching with Haute Gitanerie
Everything you need to set homework, drill a class, and share playable passages — already inside HG. No new tool, just the features you already have, pointed the right way.
- Loop a section for your class
Tap Loop, set the start and end chords. The player repeats just that passage — skip the intro, hammer the bridge. The loop is saved per tune and lives in the share link. Send one link to your students. - The "bosse ça" link
Open the Licks lens (lens=licks) on any tune, pick a lick, and share the link. Your students drill the same phrase on the neck — with tempo, metronome, and a reveal test. drillLick in the URL. - Set the homework
Mark a tune to-learn in Parcours, build a playlist, and share it. The "learn next" pick keeps the class moving. Each student follows the same path at their own tempo. - Check understanding
The Test yourself cards (a chord's notes, its function, the ♭9) with gentle spaced repetition let you see who has it and who needs to revisit. The harmony drill names every chord's role. - Transcribe together
Share a lick page — the neck, the transcription, the backing at tempo. Students see the same grid, practise the same passage, and can propose their own lick on top.
