Every fix and idea below came from a player. Thank you.
Jean-Yves
- The “variations” button is now easy to spot — a colourful chip right next to the chord instead of a faint link below it.
- Alt-chords: tap “variations” on any chord to see the manouche moves you can play instead — the minor line (m → m△7 → m7 → m6), ♭9/dim on dominants, 6 / 6-9 on majors. Pick one and it shows in the rail (the grille stays untouched).
- Minor chords stay plain by default — the grille reads “Am” and shows a plain minor grip; the m6 (the predominant manouche colour) is the minor line's target in Variations, one tap away, never forced.
- Chord grips now default to the accompanist voicing — root in the bass on a low string — instead of a higher soloist shape, with an optional “5th in the bass” fuller grip.
- Chords now follow the reference grilles exactly (Minor Swing fixed, incl. the Bb7) — enrich them your own way.
Buco
- The metronome now clicks the way you want — off, the downbeat only, the 2 & 4 backbeat, or every beat.
- Two-minute practice sessions — a timer on one tiny chunk (a lick or a loop), slow tempo, every day — the micro-practice habit.
- Hear it on every arpeggio and chord — a play button on the neck, and in the tune player you can hear the current chord arpeggiated or as a block.
Tim
- Diminished chords now correctly labelled — “Diminished 7”, with the top note as °7 (not 6).
- 6/9 & dominant-9 chords now label the added note as the 9th (not a 2nd).
lorenzop
- Backing mix fixed — the bass no longer overpowers the rhythm guitar (it sat too loud on some systems).

- Backing audio fixed on Safari.
